So I had a small electrical fire, there was a cut in my battery cable going to the alternator and it ended up touching the alternator and catching the wire on fire. So I rewired the affected wires and I have power to the interior, everything works but the fuel pump.
I checked all the fuses and they are fine, the one fuse by the battery is good and I rewired part of that since it got hit by the flames. So my question is what is next to look at.
Battery is good, puts out 13ish volts and it was tested and is good. Alternator, I got it tested at advanced and they said it was bad but autozone said it was good so I'm not sure there. It does make a whining noise when I turn the ignition which I don't think is a good thing but I've never listened to it before.

Im having the same issue after rewiring the starter. The car started up good 2 times and then I drove it to the store. When I got out it wouldnt start. I have no power to the fuel pump, as you. However, I have power for everything else. Mine won't turn over either. Does yours?

Confirm no fuel pressure via gage on the fuel rail. Then look for 12v before and after fuel pump relay, and figure where 12v ends at.

I have yet to try to turn it over, I will try later and let you know.
Where/what is the fuel pump relay?

Also any ideas about the alternator making noise even when its not turning?

Can a bad alternator cause the fuel pump to not work?

Ok so replaced alternator and nothing changed. That one wines too so must be something related to my problem.
car does turn over so starter circuit is fine. If I go strait from the battery to the relay grey wire, to the pump. The pump turns on so the pump and all is good. The fuses are all good. But i still go no power to the oarnge wire at the relay or pump fuse. I got some voltage from the Green relay wire whem I turned the ignition. It wasn't 12v, or even close, but it was something. I don't know what else to check...

Did you check the fusable link from the battery which provides power to the fuel pump? If I remember correctly it is orange in color. It may not be immediately apparent if it's blown so check it with a multimeter.

I get power to the alternator so I'm pretty sure the fusible links are good. Normally when turning the car on you get that flashing code before starting it but I don't get that at all. A sign of something? I put a new ecu in and still same problems so at least the computer is good. Thanks

The orange wire starts on the positive battery post. It has its own fuse (20a)within 12"-15" of the battery. Start at the battery and figure out if battery has 12v, then pull the fuse and check for 12v on the battery side of the fuse terminal. Plug the fuse back in and check for 12v just after the fuse, follow this procedure down the wire and figure out where 12v stops. They make tools for checking breaks in wires but I'm assuming you don't have one, a multimeter will suffice but you will have to physically trace and unloom the wire.

So I get about 12.5 at the battery and then all the way to the starter and then out of the red/orange wires that come out of the starter. So I have power all the way there then it goes into the loom which I cant get too. So I goto the orange into the ECU (B1/C16) and I get like 0.02 Volts from the orange wires going into the ecu. I also get about that at the fuse. So obviously not enough to do anything but there is something. So somewhere between the ECU and the starter power cables the power drops. Is there anything like a fusible link inbetween there???

If I remember correctly the fuel pump gets it's main power from near the battery and not through the cable going to the starter. Look for a smaller gauge red wire coming off the positive battery terminal, it should go to a fuse before disappearing into the loom. Check those wires and see if any lose power.
