torsen posi unit for sale............ again.
i have other priorities right now that require me to part ways with some of the parts which i've collected over the years. first up is this torsen posi.
i had this for sale about six months ago, and thought i had it sold. the deal unfortunately fell through, and i still have this sitting on the shelf in my garage.
it's an oem take-out unit from a 1999 trans am. it has a set of richmond 3.73:1 gears on it with 40-50k miles on it. i also have an AAM rear differential cover that is included. this unit is for a 7.5 or a 7.625 10 bolt, as long as you use 28 spline axles.
you can use it in any 7.5/7.625 10 bolt from an f-body, s10 or astro/safari van that have 28 spline axles. if it's an older car, then you'll need a set of 28 spline axles.
i'd like $250 shipped anywhere in the 48 states. check or money order only. also, i'm located in northeast ohio. halfway between youngstown and cleveland.
thanks!

Re: torsen posi unit for sale............ again.
I am very interested but need to ask anyway. Is this a limited locking diff? I need to run 3:73 in my rear and that is just what I was looking for basically. I was thinking about going through EATON, But wasn't quite sure if I should. I am running 3:23 now. If still for sale please PM me. I live about 3 hrs north of Buffalo NY.

pm's replied to, and adding a link for ibmtech.
http://www.torsen.com/products/T-2.htm
- i think this link will explain how the diff works. i know it uses a series of gears instead of clutches.
