Re: 05 ZO6 Brakes for sale
then report it to the damn mods then..
why is it that people like you choose to harrass someone just selling something, if you do not want it, then do not post, otherwise getinfo on it..Where in your TITLE does it say MODERATOR?
It doesn't.. SO **** OFF!!!
Does it say anywhere that I have 17 inch wheels for sale with it? THEN NO I don't...
what is so hard to understand, do you go into Best Buy and ask if they can hook you up with a BMW? THEY should right, since they sell radios and CDs that you can play in a BMW..
JESUS!!!
Rant over..

Re: 05 ZO6 Brakes for sale
lol.
I think he meant do you have to have 17" wheels to use them.
Which i believe you do otherwise the calipers will rub on the rim.

Could you post the pictures here since most of us are not members of that other site and cannot see those pictures?
And don't worry about the people who cannot do their own research...

Re: 05 ZO6 Brakes for sale
It's not a conversion if the mounting brackets are not included.
Basically, the Fbody LS1 calipers are the same as the C5 calipers (the ones you are selling). The only difference in the 2 are how they are made. The only way to get larger rotors in an Fbody is to change the distance from the hub to the caliper. That requires relocation of the caliper with an aftermarket piece (which you are not selling with this "kit"). Now, if you were selling the calipers, rotors, mounting brackets, brake lines, and abuntment brackets, THEN YES...they do go for "butt loads" on ebay.
But used front calipers, used abuntment brackets and so-so used rotors and used brake lines, are really pushing the $300 limit.
So if you had everything BRAND NEW and all inclusive for a "conversion", you can then compare apples to apples.

Re: 05 ZO6 Brakes for sale
if you don't want it stop posting and wasting space on here. Myself if I were ready for brakes I would get it that is about the normal price. Price them at gm for NEW rotors and calipers alone and see how much you are in. (here's a hint, more than $300) I am not trying to sound like an *** but I am subscribed on here and I don't like checking out a thread just to find out there isn't anything different than the last time.

Re: 05 ZO6 Brakes for sale
this is the MAIN things needed for the conversion Ed sells the brackets needed. there are ALOT of post about this conversion dating back for a couple years. I have said it before, is a wonderful feature that this site is equipped with.
