I had the heads for about 5 years. Not sure when the new casting started.

I love my setup. But keep blowing out transmission (700r4) on the 3rd one. It hard to pass smog with this car. I'm ready to move on.

I'll be picking up my new project next week 1990 ZR1 Street-Skinner 500hp package. Just need interor work.

You blew 3 transmissions in 1000 miles?

How do the heads only have 1000 miles on them if you have had them for five years? Not doubting you or anything, just very curious lol.

Yep... 3-4 clutches 3 times... Might have been the TV cable, too much fluid, not enough cooling, or the builder... I was looking to go with a ZF-6. But changed my mind and when after a 1990 ZR1 Street-Skinner.

I never realy drove the Corvette due to time (Kids and work sucked up my time)
Also keeping up with maintance on my other 5 cars and trucks

I think you can look up the car on the California CARB site (Plate - BYBYTHX). And see the millage.

You get to the point after spending $2-3K 3 times on transmissions and looking for someone to SMOG your car. To me its time give up. And try someting elce.

If I dont sell anything I'm fine with that too. I'll put a smaller cam in it and put in my 90 Firebird....
