Axle/Gears: 2.43 Gear Ratio
3.42 posi rear for sale
I've got a 3.42 posi rear end out of a 97 Z28. Disc brake setup. $200 or best offer.

Hey will this bolt right up to a 3rd gen or is there Fab work that would need to be done. Im 11 hours away and do not have a truck, so I would need shipping as well. 70373 and seriously interested.

Ha! Not sure what Im thinking, but 200$ with disc brakes is a great deal. Can always change up the gears later.

Ya, I was afraid of that. The add has been up here since the 3rd, I wonder why no one else is after it. Will it bolt straight into a 3rd gen?

As far as I know, it should bolt right in. It will stick out 2" more on either end if placed on a 3rd gen, which would look good with 4th gen wheels without the use of 2" wheel spacers. Other than that you may have to buy a different carrier and will have to change out your speedo gears. But dont quote me, thats off the top of my head! No idea why noones been after it, its a steal!

Yea if you didnt want your stock 16x8's sticking out 2". I rin 17x9 camaro ss wheels on mine, they would be flush with a 4th gen rear or use 2" spacers with a third gen. If not youd need a wheel with a 50mm offset, 6.8" or so backspacing.

I have been looking for a set of weld aluma stars, 15x10 with 6.5 bs, but Im thinking of maybe a 15x9. It seems anything with a 6.5 bs sells really fast though. I Do Not want any tire sticking out.
