1988 GTA whoring out .. I mean parting out
HATE to do it .. but ... no title ... VIN ran by the SO ... it's clean !
might could get a bonded title or mechanic lean it ... but that's up to YOU !!!
located near ATLANTA GA .... no rust here ......
only has 90k on the clock ...

The 9 bolt AND the 10 bolt BOTH have 5 on the bottom half. The 10 has 5 (obviously) on top, and the 9 only has 4. No center top bolt. ...and the 9 bolt SHOULD have a tag as well.....AND.....if I'm not mistaken, most of the upper end Pontiacs from 87 and up got the 9 bolt. I could be wrong, but if it IS a 9 bolt, I'd be curious to see what gear ratio it has on that tag.

I know the diff ... don't let the nuub rating fool you either ... 9 bolts where RARE in a 88 .. don't think I've even seen a 89 9 bolt, but I've seen pictures ... and I've had well over 100 3rdgens ... but it's been over 10 years since I owned a f-body and the last couple were 4thgens .. so the minor details escape me .. this tag is on the pass side and thick .. like a I remember a 10 bolt tag being , almost readable from the back of the car, in traffic .... .. seems like the 9 bolt tag was thin, on the driver side .. and illegible when it was made ....
I just picked the car up last night ... was more interested in getting it home rather than details ... now that it's home ... I'll find it all out ... just wish the race car wasn't on the lift ....

I'm kinda always looking because of how rare they are. I don't NEED it per se, but if it is a 3.45, and the posi checks out, we might be able to work something out. Don't go outta your way though. every GTA i have ever seen is a 9 bolt. only way it would have 3.45s is if someone swapped them. only came in the g92 305 manuals.

not sure ... was hoping to get $600 plus shipping .. but , let me know , we are NOT in love with them ... already have Z06 rims to race on ... only other set I saw was on flebay for $1400 ... I'm in GA .. your in TN .. shipping for be fairly reasonable ...

so is the hatch roll up-blind- ...
t top headliner is shot backing board is fair ...
WS6 package with decal ..springs .. sway bars .. keeping fast steering box
GTA emblems are there
t tops
dash is cracked ... speaker covers are purple from fading ...
dash pocket is there but hanging ...
car has 90k on the clock .. so interior isn't shot .. faded surely .. but it's tan .. so it ages well no rips in seats ...

yea never mind on the wheels you can get them completly refinished better than new for 550 now from a couple places

sorry wasnt tryin to insult or sound like an *** lol i just wanted the wheels no tires i picked up a nice so set of black gtas today with new toyos for 325 so not in the market now but if those eagles are in guseable shape that is a pretty good price i think,but i have brand new g forces all around was just missin the gta style wheels for mine to be orrig9inal apearance

save time for who ???? if I had that kind of time ... it would be on ebay ... since I don't ... it'll probably end up at the crusher ... since that would save me all kinds of time and hassle of everyone asking how much shipping is .. when it ain't the cost of the shipping that's the issue ... but the time to pull the part and pack it .... A good running 90 K mile car that only needs a tranny and some interior work (unless we are being misled) is well worth restoring.
And it's not called Whoring out a car here. We have a lot of female members here as well. We sometimes have to part out a car due to extensive body damage or the old rust problem, in which case we call it parting out and nothing else but a donor car.
These cars do deserve the respect that they were built with and their passing deserves nothing less.
There are a lot of nice parts there that TVP has and it does take time to sell them in an organized manor.
