Re: Magnaflow cat back
the piping from the cat to the muffler of the pipe is all original i believe earlier cars came with the biggest piping offered for third gens i think its 2 1/4 i may be worng on the numbers proved it myself with a '88 motor i bought came with small part of the y and was little compared to my '86 wich was bigger and there should be something on the tech boards about that but to finish answering your question the muffler to tail pipes are 2.5'.. this cost me almost $400 at the time since it was profesionaly done at a race shop this was like in 2007 i believe i still thave the recipt from a buyers perspective this is not a bad deal looking at the price well if you need any more info let me know hope this helps make your decision on wether to buy it or not

Re: Magnaflow cat back
So basically you are selling a Magnaflow muffler with tips? When you say "cat back" people expect you to have aftermarket exhaust from the cat back.
If so that price is way too high, it's why you aren't getting responses. I bought a set of SLP 1 3/4" Stainless Shorty Headers on here at $175 for comparison.
If the I-Pipe and Cat are stock I wouldn't even bother selling them and that way you can ship the muffler + tips. It would increase possible buyer audience tremendously. Also give the specs on the Magnaflow muffler, so people know which one you are selling.
Just trying to help you make a sell, good luck!

Diablo the problem is everyone already has everything you don't want to cut off, only the muffler and tips are worth anything.

Re: Magnaflow Mufler back (OBO)
That may be true but there is someone out there that can't afford for what ever reason a complete exhaust from a big exhaust company and this would be bang for the buck

Re: Magnaflow Mufler back (OBO)
Why would someone be missing their entire stock exhaust though? It's like having a motor with an aftermarket intake and saying you refuse to take the intake off and sell it because someone will want the entire stock motor. If you had an aftermarket Y-Pipe or even an aftermarket catalytic converter, it would make more sense. However all you have is a muffler, that is it. Nobody is going to pay the shipping on the entire stock cat back system in order to get a muffler. Look at how long you have been selling this. If you want to sell it cut of the muffler and make some cash. I'm not trying to be negative at all, just trying to help you make a sell.

Re: Magnaflow Mufler back (OBO)
With that being said it made me think i should cut it and keep the stock piping and use it for my slp totl exhaust i just bought but what would be a reasonable price for the muffler tips
