Re: Edelbrock performer RPM heads, fresh Pr.

Can I ask what makes them worth $900 when they are under $700 new from Summit w/free shipping?.........Just saying.

$700 a piece I believe, only sub $1000 heads from Edelbrock would be the E-Tecs I think.

Uhhhhh, your heads aint worth what you're asking. You can get brand new Dart SHP 180s that are the head that Dart used to develop the Platinum Iron Eagles and Pro 1 heads for $200 bucks more.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dart-127222-NEW-SHP-180-Alum-Heads-Complete-Pair-2-02-1-60-72cc-Chamber-/360647519353?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item53f8446c79All the latest design using wet flow technology, much more modern chamber, etc. Edelbrock has NOT changed the Performer RPMs since they came out so long ago. Good heads, but way outdated. If you were asking $500 you'd be more in line.

Re: Edelbrock performer RPM heads, fresh Pr.

If you want 72cc chambers that is.

But hey, thanks for dropping by and taking a crap in peoples "for sale" threads.

If you don't like the price then move on...

At least you're bumping my thread up.

Nah, the only reason I even said anything was your attitude to other posters. There's a reason they haven't sold yet.

Oh, guess what. You can get the Dart SHP 180s for $920 for the pair, assembled, with 64 cc chambers. Jegs or Summit will price match and ship for free. Have a nice day.

Re: Edelbrock performer RPM heads, fresh Pr.

I'll own up to partial blame on this. It was right there, I just didn't read it "summit prices them individually but my price is for the pair." Still no reason to be a dick about it. I never priced the heads before nor expected them to be in the AFR price range, more along the lines of darts.
Another free bump, GLWS and keep up the great attitude

Possibly?

I'm doing an LS swap on the '89 and I need headers yet, and maybe a DBW set up complete.

For the '92 I'm looking for a Vortec TPI base manifold.

Always on the prowl for spare interior stuff that are getting hard to find.

PM me of what you have in mind?
