Car: '88 trans am GTA

Engine: 5.7L 355 TPI L98

Transmission: T5

Axle/Gears: eaton posi 3.73 gears

NorCal/bay area - 355TPI and T5 conversion

have a 355 TPI and T5 conversion i just removed from my car for LS3/T56 swap.

I have 2 local interested parties and i just wanted to do a quick price check and interest gauge for TGO aswell.

I will separate motor and trans but i won't part out either. I have a second set of pedals for the T5 (i'm keeping one for my T56) and the hydraulics for the T5.

5.7 350 bored .30 over, Cam, 1.5/1.6 roller rockers, edelbrock heads ported and flowed, SLP runners, have a set of TPIS runners aswell but they had a v acuum leak, edelbrok shorty headers smog legal. roughly compression 10.5:1

T5 is borg warner, came out of a 88k mile 305 ttop trans am added another 10k maybe.

Intake leaks coolant a lot due to bad seal on the water ports and i believe there has been a coolant intrusion on the bearings because of that but i haven't checked yet.

I'm no pro here.. and prices vary from state to state and what not.. but I would guess that the trans swap alone should get you close to $900-$1000 (assuming its a complete trans swap with pedals, etc), and the engine setup I would put you at around $700-$900.. but who knows.. I could be way off base here haha.. hopefully someone else can chyme in.
