[SOLD] Modified Astro Van Steering Shaft

Hey all. A while back I bought a few Astro Van steering shafts. I used one on my car, gave another one to a buddy in trade, and have one left. I modified it for use on the thirdgens. Its clocked, welded, primed/painted and ready for install. Includes the bolts. The joints are very smooth and free.

I planned to grab more of these, mod them, and sell them at one point. Not so much now. I see some other guys have started to sell them...I dont mean to step on toes. But for now I just want to get rid of what I have sitting around.

The ONLY thing about this shaft is, the steering box end seems to be 180* out from all the others. You can even see it in the video that I made which I will post. You can tell that one is different. What does that mean for install? Not much. I didnt catch it when I clocked the steering column end, so I just clocked it like I did on my last one. The only thing it means is, you cant use that little set screw on the side of the Astro shaft. As far as I can tell, its only to keep it from separating 100% anyway. So, when installed, it has no effect. If you insist on using it, you will just have to deal with your column side bolt being on the bottom of the column shaft instead of up top.

Either way, this shaft will bolt in and work 100%! Just wanted to give fair warning. Ill also be asking a little less than I would if it was like all the others.

Here's my install/mod video. It shows where you have to modify your steering column a tiny bit to use these shafts. Just skip to about 9:50 if you want to get to the install part.

Here are the pics of the one you will get.

Here you can see what I mean about the set screw. Again...I dont think you even need this.
