This is a stock 1988 305 TPI so honestly I'm not sure whether the 86 is fully compatible. Mines an F series 3rd Gen. Do you know what the differences are between the years?

"F"-- stands for 305 tpi -- an "8"-- stands for the 350. Not sure either but mine has the perimeter valve cover heads. The one thing I remember is that mine has the
9th injector hole. Don't know when they stopped using it.
