Motor Swap TV Cable Question
I've read several articles about how the TV cable, when at its inital position, must be at the exactly correct length in order to pre-load the bearing in the right way. However, after a motor swap, when the bracket is in a different position (albeit maybe only slightly), how can you determine the correct length, and then correct the situation so your valve opens in the correct positions?

Even with the bracket in a different location the cable is still the same length so the same rules would apply. Like, when I had TPI on my car the bracket (and cables) were closer to the front of the motor compared to my now carbed motor ...made no difference. Just push in the tab and pull it all the way back then go into the car and floor the gas pedal so it self-adjusts. After that drive around and if it feels like its shifting too hard then click the adjuster forward 1 click. If it feels too soft/sloppy/early pull it back a click.

If you really want it right get one of these. I`ve found that cable location and the amount of cable pull can either make or Break!
