IAT sensor
I am a proud owner of a 86 camaro Z28
i know this is a little off the topic of camaros but it is chevy with the problem i am having.
my wife owns a 1998 cavalier(thats half the problem not a camaro ,but we do have our problems too)
and i was hoping someone could help she getting a check engine light that comes on i pull the code with a odb2 scanner and the code is a P0113 = Intake Air Temperature Circuit High Input is high i replaced the senser and cleared the code with scanner and bamm check came back on after about a half an hour.
came someone tell what else might be the problem?
what i read on internet is that as the car warms up volts should drop i guess it starts off around 5volts and volt drop as it get warmer
im thinking that maybe the connector for that senser maybe shorting or not getting a connection at all and that why i get that P0113 code volt may not be dropping as car warms up
any info would be a great help
this sites been great for all my camaro help so i figured i would try and see if someone could help me on this matter
