305-350 tpi
Ok im just trying to get an idea of where im going to have problems. The car has a 305 700r4 and is an 86. It will have a 350 700r4 from an 89 swapped into it.
Wiring wise what has to be changed? I have the donor car will it be easier to swap the wiring harness or can i leave the 86 harness and mod it a little?
I know the 89 has no cold start injector... what other differences are there?

Is there any reason you aren't using the '86 TPI on the '89 engine? That would be the easiest route. No wiring changes, use the injectors & regulator from the '89, you should be good to go.
Otherwise, unhook the harness from the passenger kick panel pass-through and put on the '89 stuff using the '89 ECM & harness. It shouldn't be that hard.
