You didn't mention what you plan was for the wiring, if you were eliminating the computer, original equipment guages, etc. My son and I wanted to keep the computer functions and original dash equipment we replaced the entire engine compartment harness from an appropriate donor car. However, we screwed up and didn't replace the harness behind the dash thinking we'd only have a wire or two to repair back there.... MAJOR SCREW UP. We're now looking to find another appropriate donor to grab the internal harness from. The harness behind the dash is not at all compatible with the engine compartment harness(s).
Sincerely,
Kurt

Wish I could help...Don't know enough..
7plagues,
We're running a cheapo mechanical off the block. Although we had some initial problems with vapor lock (caused by the headers being a bit too close to the fuel lines) we now have no fuel problems.
Maybe a $12 mechanical is the answer. By the look of those wires in the previous post you may be better off. I believe there is a Fuel Pump Solenoid on the driver's firewall that could be the place to start looking for the problem if you're staying electric.
Probably didn't help but it's all I got!
Sincerely,
Kurt
