novice needs some help from veterans
I know this has proboblly been covered before, but cant find a thread on it. I want to put a V8 in my 87 firebird with a v6. I figured using a carbed v8 would be easier cause of less wiring. What i dont know is what major things i will need to change like if my trans will work or if the diferential will handle it and that type of thing. Also if anybody has an engine with around 275-310 HP let me know i will look into it. My main problem is that i dont have a lot of money right now because im also rebuilding an 87 Olds Cutlass Supreme. Please inform me

What did you learn from reading the "6-cyl to V8" sticky at the top of the page?
