I am looking at getttin a carburated 350 that is a pre 86. I had some quiestions on if I could swap all the acessories from my 350TPI to the new engine?
You should swap the heads and cam and TPI while you're at it probably.
But yes, you can swap that over as long as it's a 1970 or so or newer 350. The older heads dont have the threads for the accessory brackets on the front I dont think. Like some of those overhyped "camelhump" heads.
You'll need a different flywheel as well - or maybe just a different starter - someone that remembers better can chime in (my old brain can't remember)

i have an 88 camaro it was a v6 so i got a 92 305 for it had it in for a while that motor blew up so i swaped a 69 350 4 bolt in ever i used the starter and fly wheel off the 305 and also i used all brackets off 305
It turns out that my collision repair teacher knowsw a guy that has an LT1 out of a camaro z28 and i might be gettin that for 300 then throwin an eldebrock LT1 carb intake on it and a holley performer 750cfm
Honestly I am done with fuel injection. Unless its a new car or an LS1 she's gunna be carbed. But it turns out the LT1 I was hopin to get was sold and now its runnin in a stock car the town over.
And I might even put a carb on an LS1 if I was to get one, a friend of mine might do it on his "modified" firehawk.
PS: the car will out run a procharged fox body with a 5.0 cobra engine.
