new ecm, couple questions
I have a 92 RS with a 305 TBI in it at the moment. I plan on swaping to a L98 in the near future, it is from an 85 Corvette. Am I right that I need a new ECM for the swap, specifically one from a 91-92 car? Also I've found one from a 91 Z28, is $30 a good price? Thanks

A harness ( and ECM ) from same year model as yours would make fitment easier
If it works
Does it have the memcal ( chip ) as well ?

Re: new ecm, couple questions
So what you're saying is that I can get an ecm from any year but should look for a wiring harness from my year. Ok. I don't know the difference between MAP or MAF tho, is one better than the other. Btw sorry I replied so long after I posted this long story short I haven't been able to use internet.
