Almost there now! After 4 and a half years of hard work (inbetween looking after 2 kids and working full time), the camaro is almost there
Just the brakes to complete and air suspension to plumb in and we are done!
Amazing to think that the last time this car hit the road was in August 1999 My eldest son was only 1 year 10 months old ! Now he is 7. Where does the time go? Can't imagine how much it will cost for the wheels and tyres!
Andy.

Hi Felix.
You are not kidding about the time going fast with kids around! Just last week my 7 year old (Callum) cost me £500 in a playstation 2 and a computer! Luckily we have many staff at school who build computers in their sleep and charge for the components only The ps2 was a reward for completing his reading to a really good level, and the PC was to get him off my laptop
So, money is always tight, but there's always a way. Exhaust and wheels/tyres next. Trouble is exhaust must be highly polished stainless including ceramic coated headers and Y pipe. Wheels and tyres must be perfect If anyone watches Boyd Coddingtons Hot Rod series, they roll the projects around on a set of very smooth wheels. No spokes, no rivets, no patterns, no nothing. Just smoooooooth. Want 'em
I do the spraying myself, so that is no problem.
Look forward to seeing you and your kiddie winkles this summer.
Oh, by the way, did you ever find out what happened to your camaro after the engine problems
Andy.

Cool, the pS2 wasn't back-handed at all then, with there being Gran Turismo 4 out ?? 7 onwards sounds like its going to be very expensive for me too. Like you say there are ways of affording it (and I've got 5 and a half years to work out how )
I never did find out about my lovely car. Of all outcomes this is the worst as all I really wanted to know what was happening to the old girl. I e-mailed the guy a few times offering advise and leads for spare engines etc. He never replied so I guess he doesn't want anything to do with me. Bit unfair really as it was a big piece of me and he knew how much it meant to me (indeed that may be why he never got back in touch?)
At least I don't have to worry about MOT time this year and fighting the tumble dryers and fridges for garage space. Oh how the mighty fall
Take care mate and see you soon. Again, the car is looking amazing, keep up the high standards.
