pros&cons on gutting a cat!!

if i were you, i would just take it out altogether, assuming that you dont have emmisions where you live. i noticed a small difference when i took out mine, but not enough to brag

I gutted my cat and I love how it sounds. It gave it a much deeper growl at idle.
I just disconnected the exhaust pipe after the cat and hacked the hell out of the inside. Make sure that you get both sides of the converter, mine had a bar that ran through the middle and that created some problems. It ended up taking me about 2 hours to get it completely cleaned out. Every once in a while I started it up and blew all the dust and little chunks out. Oh yeah wear a particle mask and goggles! I kept my cat on there so if I got pulled over I could show the cop that I do in fact have a cat (nothing in it but they don't need to know that) Good luck
