v-6 exhaust
i have a 1997 grand prix gt and i was looking into putting exhaust on it. its the 3.8L V6 and i was wondering what you all thought would make it sound good, and, like i saw someone post earlier, i dont want it sounding like a person barfing in a garbage can. i was looking into the slp loudmouth. i heard a clip of it on a V6 firebird and it sounded pretty good.
heres the link with the sound clip of the loudmouth catback on a 3.8L v6 firebird.

someone also told me flowmaster might work well with my car but im leaning more towards the slp loudmouth.
any suggestions would be relaly helpful, thanks

Car: Check The Sig
umm this isnt a GP board.. but.... since your a GM family member, i wont shun ya out... cant speak for the mods..
I sugest you look into SLP's exhaust for W bodies since its the only car they have now.
the LM isnt a muffler, but a large 4inch pipe in a 3 inch I pipe for 4th gens.. without cats, its basicly open headers. Flowmaster, Hooker, Dynomax, etc.. all have there own distict sounds and you just need to find one for you... or you could just get a pep boys performance muffler and be done with it. Puking in a garbage can? never herd that one before... Check out slponline.com for exhaust and other overpriced crap for your car. good luck.
