Flowmasters and Borla Exhaust
I have found an expensive Borla exhaust system for my 1985 305 V8 5.0 L Camaro which I like. However, I would like to know if anybody knows if Flowmasters makes an exhaust system for a 1985 305 V8 5.0 L Camaro?

Don't know the part number and I'm not too familar with the flowmaster systems seeing as I have the hooker catback. However, I am quite positive that flowmaster has a system. Just go to summit or jegs, either online or in their catalogs and look it up. Or you could try a search on this site.

Ive got a 3" in 2.5" out flowmaster on my tbi 305, it was originally a hooker cat back but i didnt like the hooker muffler, the flowmaster sounds really badass after riding home from work today i got in the house and my ears were vibrating.

I have heard that Banks is very similar to Borla as in being stainless and at a much smaller price tag. Also pretty much any exhaust system from 1982-2002 will fit our cars, but the 1993-2002 systems will need the hangers moved a bit and is not a driect bolt in like some others.

if you want a good quality system much in line with the Borla stuff but do not want to pay the borla price...Get the BANKS!..Most people on this board pay around $300 delivered for it from Entec and it is a FAR superior system to the flowmaster is terms of quality and right in line with a Borla which is over twice as much!

Thanx for the advice guys. I will definetly check out the Banks. Thanx for tellin' me that basically any flowmaster system fits any camaro model from 82 - 02, whoever told me that. I am gettin' my exhaust soon and I was lookin' for what people have on theirs and what runs good and isn't too hefty of a price like Borla.
