Engine: lt1
Transmission: 4l60e
Axle/Gears: 273:(
final exhaust decision
well. ive made my mind up on the exhaust for the 90 camaro lt1 project car. i wanna run dual 2.5 inch with high flow conveters and 2 magnaflow mufflers. now the headers. id prefer to use shortys. HED-68470 are these decent enough headers? this car will still be a dailey driver. but w/o immisions.

and 2.5 duals is enough room for the stock lt1 isnt it? and will i have any trouble getting to the plugs on the lt1. and will the headers mount to that lt1 block ok?

i've run only shorty hedmans on both my irocs, and been pleased. just get them coated. don't know the lt1. you may have to get lt1 specific headers.

LT1 can use any headers a regular SBC can. And I too have those Hedmans on my 350, and they work great!
