Need suggestions please

Alright guys, I have my car in the shop for
a new exhaust setup MONDAY..and I must
make up my mind on what Im going to run.

Cammed L98 TPI:

Hedman 1 5/8 Shorties, 3inch Y-pipe & Single cat.

The guy Im talking to suggests a Super 40 series
Flowmaster/3inch pipe back to the rear, with 3.5inch
chromies out the rear.

Im sure it would sound nice, but Im not confident.

Id like a aggressive idle and cruise, but I want it
to sound "classy".. I originally wanted a Magnaflow
outback, but I have not had any expierences with
that brand.

I know its kind of last minute, but I can run out
to my local performance shop and get whatever
we can conger up for my beast.

Any suggestions would be delightful

Thanks

If you like loud, raspy, and annoying, you'll love the Flowmaster.

Dynamax, Borla, Magnaflow - all much quieter and throatier. Probably flow better, too.

3.5" chromies? Where's that puke smilie when you need it?

Re: Need suggestions please

I ended up going with a Flowmaster 80series cross flow.
With some bigger tail pipes out the back.. It amplified the
sound much better than the pipes I had on before.

Also, had them fix the Y-pipe that was sucked
up unto my body floor, causing vibrations at high RPM.

It has a nice lope and its obnoxious at WOT..
So, Im glad I stuck with the flowmaster for now

I reccomend the 80series to anyone who
wants to remain in semi-stockish form with
a Y-pipe/Single cat.

Thanks for the response Five7Kid
