A.I.R injection

any one know of a company that makes headers with the AIR hookups . I need to be emissions compliant 1 day every 2 years. If noone knows then ill buy regular headers and run open headers and take the stock exhaust off untill testing. any problems arise from doing so?

I know Edlebrock,Hedman and I believe Hooker make headers with A.I.R. tubes(those that come with EO compliance).Check Summit or JEG's online catalogs or each of the company websites for part numbers.Along with the A.I.R. tibes they will have provisions in either the header collector or it's matching y-pipe for the O2 sensor.

Re: A.I.R injection

You know you can also purchase a set of air tubes in the form of a kit to adapt headers that aren't equipped with them. Summit and Jegs should both sale them. They won't have a EO# but if the system is functioning it should pass visual and sniffer inspections.

Correct me if I'm wrong but, aren't there people here running around with no smog equipment passing the tests due to their ECM tuning?

Please read my sticky "What's the best exhasut? What's the best headers?" at the top of this forum. It should answer your questions.
