Dual Cat to Single Cat
OK so i am thinking of getting some hooker 2055 headers and right now i have the dual cat system on my car.
Will it work if i get the headers and buy a single highflow cat and then maybe i might be buying a new exhuast to.
But like will there be the space under the car for the single cat.
Thanks,

Re: Dual Cat to Single Cat
I went from a dual cat to a single cat. I had edelbrock headers for the dual cats. I called edelbrock direct and asked for part numbers for replacement y-pipes, edelbrock puts the part # on all the parts of their exhaust system. I was able to buy a seperate part of the exhaust. I searched summit website and found the part. I felt no difference in performance. Hopefully Hooker is the same way if you want to buy just the single cat pipe, and yes there is plenty of room.
