Edelbrock part #68723 Headers need help!

Car: 1991 TA Vert
Engine: 305 TPI
Transmission: 5 spd
Edelbrock part #68723 Headers need help!

All,

I have a 91 TA Vert 5.0, 5spd. I saw these headers for sale and wondering if it will fit my year. On the website, it says 86 - 90, 91 & 92 has a different part number? The cars through 92 were the same I thought, is there something different on the 91 model vs. the 90 and older. Just trying to determine if I can get by with this part number?

Axle/Gears: Posi - 3.23

They will fit the area but you'll need the whole set up which includes the y-pipe. But still the edelbrock instruction sheet says welding required.

That is because some 90-92 came with the N10 option which is a dual ypipe. The headers made to fit dual ypipe are slightly different than those for single ypipe.

Well said. But still, you WiLL need the y-pipe that comes with the headers. If you dont have the y-pipe, a custom one might cost you an arm or leg.

only problem is with the edelbrock dual headers, the ypipe supplied is designed to fit onto your existing stock dual ypipe. So there is still fabrication involved. If i am correct ,the Edelbrock ypipe(single version) is more of a complete ypipe,but it still ends before the single cat. In other words ,it is really short looking.
