cat AIR tube differences single vs dual

Hi.

I'm wondering if the rubber hose between the PEDES valve and the AIR tube going to the cat(s) is different length between single and dual cat cars.

I went from a dual cat car to single cat and ordered a new AIR tube. Hooked it up yesterday, and the rubber hose from the PEDES valve won't reach; it's short by several inches. I'm wondering if I need to massage the pipe, or if I need to buy a new piece of rubber hose.

Thanks

I just went out and bought an 18 inch piece of hige temp silicone hose and it works fine.

So the hose is longer on single-cat cars?
