16x9 (?) Elite rims (firehawk lookalike ?) - mid-atlantic

These were on a parts car I purchased. If anyone has interest
in them, let me know.. Tires are not worth much.

Brushed aluminum face and lip, gray painted interior.

One appears to have been "polished" unsucessfully, and the set
should be re-clearcoated if possible.

Centercaps (at least 3) are in poor shape, and have "Elite" on them.
They sit inboard more than a stock 16x8 rim, so they are either
wider or more offset.

I can take/send additional pictures, measurments if anyone wants.
They are located in ZIP 21921

thanks
mike

I'll take some more pics today... I was thinking around $75 for the set
if you can come get them.

I gave them all a quick handwash and snapped some pics here:

http://www.eecis.udel.edu/~davis/z28...web/index.html

The left rear is the one buffer "burnt" through the clearcoat and has the
aluminum scatched. The centercaps have "Elite Wheel Corp." on them.
Google reports www.prowheel.com as the site, but it appears Defunct
now (for getting replacement parts). There are no bolts with the caps
that appear to be needed to hold them on the wheels. Definitely not
showcar quality, but pass the 10foot test.. (maybe 20ft :-( )

The right rear and left front have decent tread on the tires (255/50/16),
but the left front has a nail in it. The other two tires are almost bald.

The rims appear to be either a 8.5" or 9" width, best I can determine
with a measuring tape.

Sorry, it's worth $75 to me NOT to have to remove the tires and
ship them.

thanks

Hmmm, ok... BTW, I consider Florida, Chicago or Cali "far away", not a
1hr drive... <shrug>

well considering mapquest says 2:30 hours away,so its not a hour drive.id be spending the cost of the wheels in gas to get there because i would need to take a truck.BTW...
