Re: WTB: 2" Wheels Spacers

Last time I got some I went with a set off of ebay.

You putting on 4th Gen wheels?

I still don't trust those things on my car for any hard driving.

Re: WTB: 2" Wheels Spacers

the ebay units are ok, im using them with no problems.
just be aware you may need to put in to put in longer studs, i didn't need to replace the studs in the spacers, but the stock rear studs were not long enough for 2" spacers.

as for driving them hard, as long as you install them correctly, wheel adapters are not an issue. racing geek *i think* has been in some major arguments on here and he had FBD's and a good understanding of the forces on the adapters, so i think he knows what he is (well.. isn't!) getting into. and from personal experience, i've auto-crossed, drag raced, and gone VERY fast with spacers and they have not been a problem.

That depends on who made the spacers. It is actually better if you get a set that needs longer stud. That means there is more material in the adapter as they didn't machine it out as deep as they did the one's I had.

I was happier with them than how I got the car... It had 17 inch wheels with one inch adapters and a stack of 1/4 inch spacers under them front and rear.

I sold the adapters with the 17's and my car sat until I got the 18 inch wheels.
