Car: 1989 Formula T-Top

Engine: 350 TPI + some bits

Transmission: 700R4

Axle/Gears: 3.27

89 Formula Power Bulge Hood

Original hood damaged at rear corners, checking on availability of a replacement vs bodywork to fix the old one. I'm in South Florida, shipping would prolly be a killer but insurance is paying.

Hawkes has not called me back in a week (how long does it take to look out back to see if you have a hood?) but Dave from Ebay in NY has worked with me, sent me a lot of pics, will send his quote to Hagerty and see what they say. Supposedly Hagerty wants to send money straight away, they don't care what shop I use (they will pay based on one proposal) and they will pay more if there are things discovered later. Plan at this point is to clean up the replacement parts, bolt them on and align them, then take the car to the shop for prep and paint.
