Hood bird on an 89 Formula
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but is it possible to put a 2nd gen hood bird on an 89 Formula? Or even a 3rd gen bird? Most decal sites say they're for TA's but I was wonderin whether I could put one on a Formula or not

Re: Hood bird on an 89 Formula
Most people will say that the hood birds look best on a flat hood. Since the Formies had the "powerbulge" hood with the off-centered cowl intake, the big birds probably wouldn't work too well. On the other hand, there is a decal specifically for that hood that I always thought looked pretty cool. It was available on the Trans Ams that had the powerbulge hood, before the newer style flat hood with the extractor vents came out.
All the really matters though, is what you want. You're the one who'll be looking at it everyday. If you think it would look good, go for it.

Re: Hood bird on an 89 Formula
there is a guy where i live that put a giant gatling gun sticker on both sides of his camaro. it extends fom the top of the window to the bottom of the door and from the begining of the front quarter panel to the taillights each side. so a hood bird on a 89 formula... sure why not. its what you think is cool that matters.
