TPI filter housing delete, need opinions
For the life of me, I cannot think of what it is called. My car was originally TBI, but I know its where the TPI filters sit. Anyways, mine has always been open without any sort of cover or plate there, just all open and dirty looking. I had some scrap metal laying around leftover from my powder coating oven project, so here's what I was thinking. Cut out the letters and bowtie, then powder coat that plate gloss black (maybe candy blue to match the car, not sure how close of a color match it's gonna be). then get a piece of aluminum sheet, polish it up, and shoot some candy red powder on top, then place that behind the sheet to make the red come through the cutouts. Im open to suggestions, comments, etc. No bashing though, if you don't like it thats cool, but no need to bash someones ideas, I always say at least

The one in the pic looks nice. If I ever get rid of the TPI that's what I'll be doing.
