Making Needles Glow
Hey, so I've been searching for anyone that has made the stock gauge needle glow. I've already upgraded to the LED 194s and am finding that the needles are sometimes tough to read. Has anyone wired in lights to make the needles glow, please post pics if you have.

Re: Making Needles Glow
I don't see any way to make the needle itself glow, it's just a piece of plastic if you've ever looked at it.
Painting the needle with fingernail polish is an old restoration trick, believe it or not. You could paint it a more visible color

Re: Making Needles Glow
there are blacklight 194 bulbs you can buy from superbright led's
once you have all blacklight bulbs, just paint the needles with blacklight reactive paint

Re: Making Needles Glow
Thanks for the link ShadowKnight, I think I might give it a try if I ever get some time. The only thing I'm worried about is wiring into the circuit board for the extra lights
