Wasnt really sure where to put this. Wasnt really "fabricated", drilled 2 holes on a destroyed center console lid, couple bolts and washers and nuts and voila! Cupholders!
Its not really bad placement for me, though I will have to remember to take whatever drinks are in it out to lift the console lid. Also items in the little tray would wind up on the back seat so I am thinking about making a cushion to fill the tray, cause its about where my elbow would sit anyway.
Also where they are puts them in between the seats, so no more knocking drinks over due to lack of cupholders.
I had no qualms about drilling holes in the console lid, it was far from repairable and I was tired of not having cupholders. The other option would have been to put one where that clock went in the Berlinetta? I think thats the one with the clock in the center.
Crap, thought I took a pic. Ill post it when I get back home.

Some people drive their cars long distance. I'm 2 hours from the closest city, and 7 hours from home. In either of those situations, cup holders would be nice and are something I plan on eventually adding to the car.

On top of that; I don't drink.
Besides, its a bi*ch driving 1100 miles without cupholders.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I didnt put a whole lot of thought into it though. Had a destroyed console lid and the cupholders laying around and said to myself, "Why not?"
Its the only spot it would fit, so thats where I put it. I was tired of spilling drinks on the passenger seat lol.

Re: Cupholders!
Why not Just buy bottle drinks that come with screw on lids? I understand that it is a pain not having cupholders lol but Id never hack my car up for a luxury just my opinion. They also sell sports drink containers that are reusable. maybe 5 mins extra to fill your container each time.

This addressed 2 things, the huge crack in my console lid right where my elbow would sit, and lack of cupholders. Win win for me. Its a DD not a show car, and now its a DD with cupholders

Re: Cupholders!
I have bought bottled drinks for 6 years because this car didnt have cupholders. Also I hacked a destroyed console lid to put cupholders in. Take out 3 screws and I can swap a good console lid back in.

Ah, I understand now, by destroyed I thought you meant didnt latch anymore, which is common, not a huge crack in the lid which happens to be very annoying. So ya kudos for figuring out a 2 part fix lol. Walmart sells these window things that lock in for cupholders Ive looked at them briefly, but with the window rubber cracking as is, I'm not taking the gamble.
