F/S or Trade 1983 T/A project drag car

I am letting go of my project drag car which is almost complete. Here is the lay out of this '83 TA.

Originally a crossfire car but that is long gone now....

Engine
Standard bore 350 with about 50 miles on rebuild. It is an Edlebrock Tunnel Ram setup with two holley 600 carbs on top. The camshaft is a comp cams .630 intake and exhaust solid roller camshaft. The heads are aluminum edlebrock victor jr. heads (2.08 intake 1.6 exhuast valves) the springs can handle up to .650 lift. Harlem Sharpe 1.5 ratio roller rockers with stud girdles. The bottom end is a 4 bolt main block with forged bottom end and flat top pistons. Melling high volume oil pump, holley mechanical fuel pump. All flowing through hedman long tubes 3.5 in. dual exhaust to 2, 40 series flowmasters. Also has an msd 6AL ignition box with accel external coil. This engine screams to 8000 rpm and can still pull beyond that!!!

Drive Train
Transmission is a TCI turbo 400 race trans with manual valve body and reverse shift pattern and trans brake. Shifted by a b&m mega shifter with the button for the brake in the side of the handle and a B&M trans cooler. Coan custom 8 inch converter with a 4500 stall. TCI High performance yolk custom made driveshaft for racing has spicer u-joints (made by BSI who has made some drive shafts for Rad Rides by Troy Trepanier in manteno IL). All goes together into a mosier 12 bolt rear end. It has a 3.90 gear and 33 spline axles with the wildwood disc brake package on the rear. Has Comp Engineering lower control arms, alston subframe connectors, and comp 90/10 drag shocks. Also has new rear springs with an air bag setup. The rear end is stiff and hooks hard.

Body/Interior
This is where it needs some work. I built this car to go fast and wasn't to worried about looks. It is red with black trim and spoiler. The drivers side front fender has been replaced because it was hit by another car it was just enough to ruin the fender. The hood has also been replaced with a gta style hood that has been opened up for the dual quads to stick out. Some minor dings on the doors and a rust hole that has formed on the drivers side rear corner in front of the rear tire. Air conditioning has been removed, heater has been removed, power steering has been removed and holes in the fire wall have been patched up with sheet metal. has power windows and power mirrors too. The back seats have been removed for wieght, and the rest of the interior isn't in the greatest shape but like I said I built it to go fast.

Needs to finish
Body work and paint is the main thing it really needs to be complete. If you wanna take it to the track a cage will be a must. I also have a drive shaft saftey loop (not installed) goes with the car. To finish it off with a nice set of rims and tires and you will have a nice show and go car.

I am sure I have left out many of the things that I have purchased for this car so if you have any further questions I would be happy to answer them. This would make an awesome street or bracket race car.

I am looking to get $6000 obo for the car all trades will be considered (there is well over 15,000 into the car already). If you have a nice roller car that needs a drive train you can't get all of these name brand parts for a better deal. I'm located in Bourbonnais, Illinois it is best to pm me your questions on here or you can send me an email to
jeremysmailhere2002@yahoo.com ( I will send pictures per request if you are interested.) Just a little more work on this baby and you will have an awesome 10 second pump gas cruiser.

Thanks for looking,

Jeremy
