Due to an expensive break up I have to sell my toys. I'm selling my 1987 Trans Am I worked on for the last two years. I have the motor work done and the interior done. All that was left was to take it to the body shop and have it done over and painted. I bought a 350 engine off Ebay his id is coreman255 if you want to look him up. Basiclly it was built to stock specks. I sure feel the difference from the old 305 that was in the car. The carb is a non computer controlled Edelbrock performer 600cfm #1400 on top a Edelbrock polished manifold #EDL-21041. The Summit headers dump into the Edelbrock cat-back exhaust #EDL-5673. I also have the Edelbrock permastar water pump #EDL88112. The engine fan has it's own switch and turns on at 185 degrees. I also installed a lockup kit for the transmission which came from a 1983 Firebird. The transmission is a 700r4. Engine and transmission run perfect. I put a new carpet in and and bought the seats off ebay. The seats have no tears but I did notice the headrest on the drivers side has some dirt on it. It probably can be cleaned up fine. The air conditioning does NOT work, and I can only get the heat to come out of the vent for the windsheild. If I was keeping this car I would put a voltage regulator in for the fuel pump. The headlight motors work fine. The only rust spots I can find are under the spoiler. The spoiler is easy to remove I put it on temporally. I know the car was hit on the passenger side before I bought it. The pass. door dosen't fit perfectly you can hear air from there. I backed into the front drivers side fender with another car. Left some slight damage.
I invested over $4000.00 into this car as it sits. I need to sell it. If you have a good offer either p.m. me or email. Car is located in Alton NH. I cannot ship sorry. I live in Salem NH now. I would have to meet you in Alton. I can pick someone up if you live close enough to me. I would trust this car to be driven anywhere. The engine and anything I could think of to repalce is new.
