Car: '88 Firebird, '85 Trans Am
Engine: 2.8 V-6, 305
Transmission: Automatics in both
For Sale: 1988 Firebird, N.E. Ohio
I am also selling my 1988 Firebird, as well as my 85 Trans Am (see listing).
The Firebird has 109K, V-6, Auto. Runs perfect and has just as much work done to it as my TA. Here is a complete list of what has been restored on the car:
New paint (basecoat/clearcoat) in '03, striping and decals, rims refinished in 04, new tires (less than 2500 miles),
New carpet, headliner, sun visors, sail panels, center consol/lid, all new switches (headlights, PW, PD), CD player, speakers (Pioneer), new map pocket, seats are in excellent condition (no wear or burn holes) Swapped out old t-top bag for a better one, privacy shade in rear is in excellent condition.
Mechanically, new front brakes in '03, new plugs/wires/hoses in '04, K&N filter and JET performance chip upgrades, New exhaust/muffler in '04, Headlight pumps were just rebuilt last month. The A/C compressor works, but the Freon needs recharged (never bothered to fix it since I usually have the T-tops out).
Like the TA, the car is stored in an insulated garage during the winter, and only driven to car shows. Since it is a V-6, I average 30 MPG, and have an insurance bill that is $200 per half cheaper than the TA! The car drew alot of attention at the 2005 Trans Am Nationals in Dayton, OH since it was the only V-6 ThirdGen at the show!
I am letting it go cheap at $4500. Here are some pics:

That is a beautiful Firebird...V6 doesn't matter. Ultra clean and good gas mileage. If I only had money I would be all over this. Bump though for a clean Third Gen.

be interested in an 87 chevy 4x4 lifted beefed up fuel injected... nada guides puts it at about $7K bad *** truck but im taking classes at a school 30 miles away and the truck is not practical and i have another truck anyway
