1989 GTA Convertible! L98! - Hawaii
This is not my car, just helping a guy here in Hawaii out.
Car is a super rare 1989 GTA Convertible, 5.7L L98, newer top, aftermarket radio/speakers, but stock is included. Has had a repaint, no rust, but a good sized dent in the left fender. 110K on the odo, never been rebuilt. Has had recent tune-up and injectors replaced, runs well.
IMHO I'd put the car at about a C+ or B. It has been a regular driver, but was kept clean and decent. This is not a vacuum sealed cream puff car obviously! It'll need some work to get it to show quality. This is a super desirable and super rare car. I wish I could pick it up, but I have too many projects and too little cash as it is!
The VIN indicates that it's # 97 of the 139 made. The car was originally delivered to Gay Hood Pontiac, in Riverside, CA. It was scheduled on 02-13-1989 and was shipped from ASC on 5-30-89."
Car is currently in Honolulu Hawaii. The owner is in the military, and can have the car shipped to California for free in July. If the new buyer wants to arrange shipping before then, matson charges about $1050 to the west coast.
Asking price is $9800
The owner can be reached at:

Please contact him with any questions/offers!
