Hey guys. It's been a long time since Ive been on this forum and just about as long as this car hasnt been on the road. Last inspection was in 08. I have a C5 Vette now to satisfy my V8 needs as well as 2 other cars. I hate to sell this car but it just sits and I dont have the time or ambition to get her fixed up. So with that said Im going to put this car up for sale. I dont need to sell it so I wont be selling it for dirt cheap though. The "right" price will get it or eventually I'll just finally fix it. 1988 flame red GTA w/ WS6 package and digital dash --108k-110k miles (pixels are pretty worn out so I cant tell exactly atm but I guarantee it has in between there) --Raptor 700R4 trans but needs rebuilt --rebuilt 355 engine with 2-3k on it --trans cooler --ARP bolts --180cc Pro Topline heads --ZZ4 cam --HSR intake --airfoil --24# LT1 injectors (need installed) --Hooker 2055 headers --3" Flowmaster exhaust with cutout --Walbro 255 pump --Nitto DRs --B&M shifter --A/C delete --stock 3.23 rear Ok I think that's about it. Now for the bad. The car needs a tune. I have a SPEP plus to burn your own chips. It's from Moates.net but I dont remember anything about it. I will include this with the car. The trans needs a rebuild. It only has 1st and reverse. I also have a $500 rebuild kit that I bought from the most respected auto transmission guy on this forum like 6-7 years ago. I dont remember who it was but some of you Im sure do. That will also be included. Lastly the clearcoat is peeling on the top of the car. So if you can do your own work and have the time I basically am including everything you need to get her running right. Im asking $3500. I will not entertain lowball offers. I won't lowball you because you specifically asked people not to, but $3500 is high for a car that can't be driven. You have some great parts on there, but the sum of the parts is worth very little if the car can't be driven. Get that transmission working and it would really be a great car!

Actually, with all of those parts installed and running, you could probably get more than $3500. It's just with all of the parts included but the car not moving (out of 1st or reverse)... eh. *shrug*

Also I kind of agree with you that it could be alot for some to be willing to pay for a car that needs work but I've also seen these cars go for 6-7k in decent shape which was unheard of 5-10 years ago. Maybe they go cheaper on here since I don't get on here much but in the autolocators and papers ive rarely seen them go for cheap like they once did. They are becoming more rare and classic imho. Also some people don't mind the work involved or "know" people so maybe this caters to them. I appreciate your input though.

Price is still $3500 although it's negotiable now. By lowball I didn't mean I won't take offers because I will. I just won't entertain offers of 1500-2000 that want a steal.
