1989 Pontiac Firebird. White/Blue Stripes

I am not selling this car because there is something wrong with it, or its broke down. It isn't. Purely and simply, I have 6 cars, its time to downsize.

This was my first third gen. It is a mid-year 1989 with a 2.8 V6. It has 152K on it and running very strong. It was originally white, then repainted a different hue of white with blue stripes (done by the owner before myself). The repaint was not the best quality job and the paint has started to oxidize. But is still in much better shape than most cars ive seen.
The exhaust was rotten and I have completely replaced all the pipe with stainless and a new magnaflow muffler. sounds good (somewhat like a small v8). runs smooth and starts every time.
All the gauges and interior lighting work properly. the headliner is beginning to fall and will need replacing. It has a light grey interior which is holding up nicely minus some sun damage on the top of the back seat.
The door weatherstripping is all new and has been completely replaced. I have a set of hatch weatherstrip that has not been installed but comes with the car. it needs a cowl-hood weatherstrip piece.
The hood is aftermarket, and the front bumper cover had definitely seen better days, it has a lot of spider cracks and white paint on it.
There are several small dings around the car but that can be expected on something that is 22 years old.
The passenger door has a larger dent but I never had the time to fix it.
It has minor rust damage. most of which is surface rust to the undercarriage and is repairable.
The headlights work but something is wrong with the switch and sometimes they will not lower back down without a lot of fiddling with the switch. I also did not have to time to fix this and often used the foglights which are fully functional and work very well. All other exterior lighting works and is fully functional.
The car is very tight and responsive, and steers very smooth. however, it does need a new set of tires in the future and will need to be aligned and some maintenance to the suspension to keep it rolling as smooth as it always has for me.
The drum brakes, (drums, hardware, shoes, wheel cylinders) have been completely rebuilt and work great. The front disc breaks have new calipers and pads. New master cylinder.
The A/C does not work. Never had time to check it out. But the heater works great and the blower motor operates at all speeds.
Replaced most of the vacuum hose and has a new belt.
still has original jack and donut, never used by myself but im sure they've been used in the past.
It has a hatch motor which is new, but there is a problem with the latch switch and i never had time to finish fixing it. The hatch shuts fine manually.
The front support from the radiator to the front bumper is broken. I assume someone in the past tried to pull the car with a strap and snapped it.
The transmission was toast when i acquired it and my father had it rebuilt.
It also has a new powersteering pump. and i replaced the valvecover gaskets and the oilfilter housing seal.

This car is all there minus some minor flaws. it just needs some TLC. would be best intended for someone wanting to do a motor swap or as a project. That was its original purpose for me. It would also be a good "first car" for a son or daughter as it is definitely a dog with that old V6, but is solid, runs great, and tough as nails.

I am asking $3,000 for it but will compromise with the right person. See picts in next post

text preferred as i work a lot and can't take many calls. but leave a voicemail if you need to. 307 851 5247

I get the notion that I am either very unreasonable, or people just dont like a v6 and a mild dent to the door. Or maybe a little of both. Would sure help if someone would shed some light. Its really a great car and would be a perfect project or motor swap car for the "i want to build my own performance motor" guru. I take very good care of it and its very clean, in way better shape than most I've seen
