2002 National Corvette Museum F-Body Gathering...
There is a report posted now on the Source Page covering this event from September. Please take a look if you are interested; there is lots of stuff for Camaro and Firebird folks alike.
It's by far the longest report I've attempted.... but there was so much more to cover than usual.
Take a look, and let me know if you pick up on any mistakes, please. The Camaro side of our story is not my strong suit, you know.....
Here's a link for those who'd like to take a peek: 2002 NCM Report
Thanks a lot and enjoy!

Really excellent page I love the little blurbs next to each pic, and I love seeing all these one-offs.

The "one word - wow!" car is a 4th gen concept that GM had promised to unveil shortly after the demise of the 4th gen. There was also a Camaro counterpart but I don't have any links handy to any pics of it. It looked just as progressive and many people were disappointed that they were never put into production. May want to try the "5th gen" board over at www.camaroz28.com for apossible link to a Camaro pic.

Nice job Frankie. I enjoyed meeting you and seeing the red GTA. That is one cool car! One typo and it's not your fault it's GM's.
The Dk. Red '87 IROC "color mule" was actually an '88, and it was job number four. Last eight on the VIN was JL100004.
