Help me identify these FB seats
Today I looked at a 85 TA. It had strange seats.
It was $500 and barely would start but the body was a T Top and
the quarters had no bondo and the whole body was straight except for a small dent on the psgr frt fender just above the marker light.
The seats were the unique thing to me.
I tried not to look too amazed by them
The seats were tan/gray pallex
Driver seat had a unique power control pod out one side.
(not on a side plastic panel like other thirdgens I've seen)
Passenger seat was non power
The unique thing was that they had pull out lower front leg supports AND a left and right **** midway up the seat back that appeared to adjust the bolsters and I don't know what else.
The seat backs had Pallex cloth pockets.
Are they rare?
What are these seats????

those are the Lear seats...do a search on "Lear" and you'll find plenty of info. The power versions are pretty rare. Here is a pic of another set...different color, but same seat
I've got a bunch of Lear seats - a set of non-power 84 Trans Ams, a power 85 TA in leather, and my 84 Z28 has a non-power Lear drivers seat in pimpy red "Camaro Camaro Camaro" upholstry.
