Pontiac F-Car CDB Section....
Hope everyone here has a fun and SAFE Independence Day holiday tomorrow!
There is a new section on 1987-1992 Pontiac F-Car Car Distribution Bulletins that is now posted on The GTA Source Page.... they make for some interesting reading for those out there who enjoy research.
And I know there's a lot of you here who enjoy doing just that.... It's worth a look.

Nice stuff thanks
By chance do you have anything related to the 20th Anniversary Trans Am? I'm putting together an 1989 product book that was just your basic product book plus early pricing and looking for anything that would have been in there.

Steve, no, there is nothing mentioned in any of the 1989 CDBs about the 20th T/A. That model would have probably been covered by a white Sales Information Bulletin (SIB) instead. Unfortunately, I don't have any of those sheets except for the 1987 and 1988 model years.
All that I have pertaining to the 20th T/A is the Pontiac press release and the brochure.

Re: Pontiac F-Car CDB Section....
Is there any chance that you would post the SIBs that you do have in the near future?
I thought that the CDBs were fascinating, especially the ones that link the diamond lace wheels to the T-tops and 5.7L. I really wonder if this was an emissions/weight issue.

Re: Pontiac F-Car CDB Section....
The 5.7L/T-top issue was most definitely a weight issue. Lou Wassel told me specifically that the reason the Camaros got the two options together and Pontiac did not was because of the difference in the weights of the two cars. He said he had no explanation for the 1989 Pontiacs unless perhaps someone did some refiguring or pulled an "end around".... Apparently, they used to have monthly meetings solely seeking to reduce the mass on the Firebirds in those years.
