Is this a good deal?
87 Iroc, 103k miles, "fresh blue paint", 305Ci, auto, ttop. Looks to be in pretty good shape. 4500 bucks.
KBB says in good condition it is worth 1980.
His price seems pretty high to me.
By the way this is my first post so hello everyone.

Re: Is this a good deal?
Welcome! KBB seems to be a bit of a joke today regarding the prices of good-great condition 3rd gens. They definitly need to take a second look. I bought my car for around $13,000, can't find anything close for under $10,000 in the market place, and is appraised at $21,000. KKB price for a mint example like mine? . . . About $4500! Same as what he's asking!
With these cars, especially at this age, condition means almost everything. They can be great cars, or total junk. First determine what you think this car is. If it's in great shape, new paint and no work needed anywhere, then compare that to what else is out there (Autotrader, etc). You'll find clean 3rd gens are getting harder to find and $4500 may not be a bad deal.
But again, it all depends on condition. If you can, take it for a test drive and get it inspected at a garage of your choice.
Good luck.
PS; Can you get or got any pics (interior & exterior)?
