Stripe Package on 1988-1990 IROC-Z's - Third Generation F-Body Message Boards

Hello there,

I have a 1988 IROC-Z that at one point had the silver/yellow IROC -Z stripe package. Years ago, someone took the yellow stripe off, just leaving the silver. I kind of like the silver/yellow combination and would like to put it back on but I don't want to buy a whole stripe kit for just the one stripe. The car is pretty much original although its only in fair shape. I'd like to know how wide the yellow or lower stripe is, as well as how much lower it is than the silver stripe. I assume I can pick up some kind of pinstripe tape somewhere in yellow that will do a fair job of matching the original stripe once I know the dimensions and placement. Any help here is greatly appreciated.

My newly aquired 1988 IROC has the yellow and silver/gray strip. I will be glad to take a photo or two for you. My car is at my mechanic's shop now having some work done but I will be glad to email you some photos of my car.
