anybody recognize these stripes?
Hi, i found this picture in a forum a few months ago, i want to ask, if this stripes are a classic chevy or camaro stripes or if is just builder creativity.

Combination. If the strip ran across the nose and didn't form 2 stripes that ran down the car, it would be like the stripe on some '68/'69 era Camaros

The only other time I recall seeing wide stripes that hang over the side were on early 70's Mopars.

To the OP: That's Vic Schmitt's twin turbo camaro. Vic is building the motor in my car. It's a sweet ride for sure. I'm sure it's a custom job with inspiration. I'll let him know to come into this thread.

Around 2007 i started this build. I remember watching an episode of overhauling. Foose did a 67 camaro where he painted the stripes with this design. The fender portions were narrower on his design. I found that they looked more proportional if they were wider. So thats what i went with.
It was my first stripping attempt and one of my first paint jobs ever. 14hrs i. The paint booth!
