Rear hatch alignment/adjustment

Is there an adjustment for the rear hatch on these third gens? My hatch spoiler when closed sits about a quarter of an inch higher than the quarter spoilers and the hatch doesn't latch. Which is okay for now, since it's powered and there's no battery in the car and I don't have the door keys. Just looking for advice when I soon get her ready. Any advice will help, and it is all original car nothing has been replaced.

Re: Rear hatch alignment/adjustment

Almost all thirdgens have the same problem.. When you get a battery in there and that motor can move up, it should latch just fine.. It's a common factory problem.. Atleast from what I've read...

Re: Rear hatch alignment/adjustment

In general, avoid messing with the bolts through the glass... Make the adjustment on the body side if possible, that way you don't risk shattering the hatch.
