2010 ta nationals dayton OH
I have never attended before and plan on going this year. Making the long haul from Houston, TX. My car was recently restored and the paint is perfect so I figured now or never.
From the pictures looks like a lot of 2nd and 4th gens.
How many 3rd gens show up at this event? What is the area of town like? do I need to worry about getting my trailer stolen? any advice or info would be appreciated.

I like going. I want to go this year. I went last year, hadn't been for 4-5years tho..
I was just out there this weekend and the road construction around the new Hotel was finished but there was still some from I70 on I75 tothe Hotel. Good parking and security there. Not sure if they are moving it back to the old hotel or not this year.
I have a 3rdgen but not near as nice as yours..
If your going 4 a trophy you mite not like it. (judges don't seem 2 know or care about 3rdgens much).. I put a do not judge thing in my window. I know what I have and whats wrong and rite w it.. (I drive mine HARD)
I go to meet up with good friends that ive meet over the years and 2 put a face with newbies from the net..
If you dont bring a trailer it couldnt possibly get stolen out there..
Sorry couldnt help it.. Drive it up!!!
I also have a good friend who lives there and he likes to cook 4 a crowd. I had a group of us go to his house 4 supper He was asking if we were coming again. Bruce an his crew went, John O, Greg (TTowner) and several others went. It was a good time.

I always have a good time, unless I forget to call my wife...
The show will take place at the same Marriott Hotel it did last year. AFAIK The Dayton Airport Hotel in Vandalia is no longer there, it was scheduled to be torn down 1 week after the 2009 show.

you can get the forms on the link above, and you can sign up for the show, it also gives you a link to the Host Hotel... it ticks me off that they have increased the room rate for the weekend, as they are selling out... Oh well...
BTW, you can see the yellow spot on the front page of the link above on the Left row of cars about half way back.. that's my car

I went last year for the first time with my wife, daughter, and one of my TTA's and we had a blast. I think Tipp city was my favorite part. I left the trailer in the lot across the street the whole time and nobody messed with it.
I do more racing than show so we wont be making it out to it again for some time but it was definatly worth going once.
