Re: 92 Z28
The car you are describing is desirable especially around here and is somewhat rare. Top of the line Z28 in the last year or a 3rd gen with 25th anniversary trim is not common. Not as rare as a Firehawk but I don't believe many Z28's were ordered that way plus it is good shape! You found a good one, keep it. Please post some pics!
They made around 70,000 camaros in 1992. GM did not keep track of how many cars with that exact combination were made. I know combine website will tell you this but their database is incomplete. Below website gives you production numbers for each RPO option. It at least gives you and idea of how rare a B2L (L98), 25th ann (Z03) is.
Out of 70,007 1992 camaros
- 5,197 were Z28 coupes
- 3,038 had L98
- 3,645 had oil cooler
- 8,197 had Z03 25th trim
- not sure of # with leather but it is low

Re: 92 Z28
I done did the beer thing, I just have to make a few more payments of 100 a week, and she comes home at the end of the month..Same guy I bought my 89 from years ago....The clock say 101,000 miles, but who knows if that is right.....It had dual cats, abut someone removed them, and put dual straight pipes on it where the cats used to be, also has had the smog pump removed, hyperteched, and k&n'ed, with hedmans, SO if I go the restro rout, I have some work to do, but I may just enjoy it like it is for a while...My 89 drives so hard it beats me to death with its pretty much race suspension setup, it will be nice to drive this soft Z for a while..Once again, thanks for the replys guys....Tom

Re: 92 Z28
Very nice car, but not a Z03 I found out today, still a nice car tho..The dealer ran the last 8 digits of the VIN...I was hoping it was a mistake, but it is a fake, it does have all the number matching options, plus some, but not the 25th anny package, someone just painted, and added badges...Im still pretty happy tho, all other numbers match.....
